For centuries, La Llotja de Mar has stood at the centre of Barcelona’s commercial life. Its grand halls once welcomed figures such as Gaudí and Picasso, and even housed the city’s first public bank. 

This October, the freight community takes the stage.

How to get there:

By Plane

Your destination is El Prat International Airport, Barcelona. Reachable from most major cities with most major airlines.

By Train & Metro

From Barcelona airport: 

  • Train (Renfe) + Metro: Take the R2 Nord train from Terminal 2 to Passeig de Gràcia, then walk or transfer to Metro Line 4 to Jaume I. 
  • Metro (L9 Sud + Line 4): Take the L9 Sud metro from the airport to Torrassa, transfer to Line 1 (Red) to Urquinaona, and then transfer to Line 4 (Yellow) to Jaume I, which is a 2-minute walk from La Llotja de Mar. 
By Bus

From Barcelona airport, take the Aerobus / Express Bus A1 (T1) or A2 (T2) to the last stop, Plaça Catalunya. From there, you can walk (approx. 15 mins down Via Laietana), take Metro Line 4 (Yellow) to Jaume I, or take a short taxi ride to the venue. 

By Car

From Barcelona airport, take the C-31 towards Barcelona Centre, merge onto Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, turn right onto Passeig de Sant Joan, then follow signs for Via Laietana to reach the waterfront area. The trip takes roughly 20–30 minutes, of 15-18 km.

THE BASICS 

Converge with Alpega happens on Tuesday 13 and Wednesday, 14 October 2026. Doors open at 9:00am on both days. 

La Llotja de Mar, Barcelona. This landmark building in the heart of the city is only a short walk from the waterfront. 

Converge brings together 500 freight professionals from across Europe: shippers, carriers, asset operators, orchestrators and solution providers. If you work in freight and care about how trust and technology are reshaping the industry, this event is for you. 

The main program is in English. Live translation into Spanish will be available during both days. 

REGISTRATION & TICKETS

You can register dirently on the Converge microsite. All applications are reviewed by the Alpega team to ensure the right mix of attendees. You'll receive a confirmation email once your place has been approved. 

Converge 2026 is free to attend. The event is valued at 495 Euro, but this year we're bringing it to you at no cost. Please note that from 2027 onwards, the standard ticket price will apply. 

Your ticket covers both days of the conference, including all keynote speakers, panel discussions, stream sessions and user groups. Catering for both days and the Appreciation Party on the evening of 13 October are also included.

HOTELS & TRAVEL 

We'll be sharing a list of recommended hotels near the venue as the event approaches. Barcelona is very well connected, so there are plenty of good options in the area. Details will be included in your attendee information pack closer to October. 

La Llotja de Mar is very centrally located in Barcelona, close to the Born district and the waterfront. Transfer options and any shuttle details will be confirmed in your attendee information closer to the event. 

AGENDA & SESSIONS 

Join us for a wealth of insights, knowledge and networking opportunities across two days. Please see our agenda for the full program. Day 1 (13 Oct) features an opening keynote speaker, expert talks, a main stage panel on “Trust in freight execution”, as well as three parallel streams tailored to Shippers, Asset Operators and Orchestrators. This is followed by cocktails and the Appreciation Party. Day 2 (14 Oct) dives deeper into Alpega products with demo-based sessions, user groups, a motivational speaker and a closing panel. 

Once the full program is published, you'll be able to select the stream sessions and user groups most relevant to you. Pre-booking for speed meetings with Alpega executives, carriers and shippers will also be available. More details on this closer to the event. 

Yes. There will be a dedicated Health Check zone where you can book time with the Customer Success team. Pre-bookable speed meetings with Alpega executives and partners are also planned. Booking details will be shared with registered attendees well ahead of the event.
