THE AI GAP IS WIDENING BETWEEN THOSE WHO EXPERIMENT, AND THOSE WHO IMPLEMENT. AND IT’S ACCELERATING.
The 2026 AI Report shares insights, statistics and outcomes to map out an actionable AI roadmap ahead.
WHAT THE SURVEY REVEALS
AI is here to stay, but the speed at which it’s impacting logistics still seems uncertain. Here are some key takeaways:
- Only 10% of LSPs have adopted AI into core operations at scale
- Only 13% show measurable value in embedding AI into operations.
- 40% of LSPs and Shippers state unclear ROI
- Only 30% of LSPs expect AI headcount reductions
- 56% of providers are still only testing or exploring AI
In short, AI adoption has been slower than expected.
But those who are implementing it beyond the pilot phase are already pulling ahead.
This survey reveals how logistics leaders view AI, and how their attitudes in using it affect adoption.
